As the owner of a security company in zambia, you c o l ,information is so dated as to be irrelavent.

In 2008 there are many security guarding companies and due to individual collective agreements with the Union representing security personell there is a wide disparity in wages paid to security personell.

Most indiginous companies pay well below market average which allow them market edge when competing on contracts, with the net effect that the industry is still paying substantially lower than it should be. The average of K350,000-400,000pcm is lagging behind target level of K600,000-k700,000[$200]pcm basic minimum sort by the major guarding  companies. The industry employs around 25000 guards.
