Kalusha Bwalya

Year after year he still continues to work the magic of the curling left-foot kick. Kalusha Bwalya's achievements in Zambian sport can only leave us in awe of his God-given talent and humility.

Over the years, Kalusha has:

  • Won the African Footballer of the year in 1988
  • Rebuilt a Zambian Football team after the Gabon crash
  • Captained the Zambian Football team
  • Coached the Zambian Football team

This Kalusha is nothing but just a pompous lumpen. Tell me, which cup of note did he ever bring to Zambia, nothing. To me real heroes are Matete, Lottie, Mutti, Big Joe Sichula etc. So please stop idolising this fool who thinks marrying bazungu is going to clean his stinking Katangese stanch.

GREAT  KALU, is a man of his words he has been there for mother at all costs when ever called to do his job.

Zambian foot ball or soccer its where it is today because of the heart Kalusha Bwalya  has.He had to live his family and come back here in Zambia to put some inspiration in the new team when we needed him the most.I Lombe am one happy Zambian who can stand up to Kalu and say thank you for the works he has done for his country today.

Now we are all waiting for our DREAM to come true to go to our first ever world cup in South Africa with president of Zambian soccer Kalusha Bwalya.

Gentile KAPEMBWA,

YOU SEEM TO HAVE A PERSONAL PROBLEM WITH GREAT KALUSHA........WATCH HIS PAST FOOTBALL CAREER BECAUSE IT IS LIKE YOU NEVER WATCHED KALU PLAY....Gentil, you are one of the jealous people who dont like seeing other people making it in life.....that is why Africa is where it is now becouse of people like Gentile...

At the moment i cant blame the coach or faz,,,,we  are not doing it because we dont have players we had in the 70s, 80s and 90s, that is the likes of fred mwila, the late kelvin mutale, patrick ,bomber' banda robert watyakeni, johnson bwalya, kalusha bwalya, the malitoli brothers, ternant chilumba, elija tana, the list is endless.....

I'm a Power Dynamos Fan locally and Bayern Munich INternationally. I have been following the proceedings of Zambian Football from Childhood. If iam to recall my father used to take me to watch Local Games sometime back in Kabwe before we moved to Lusaka in 1995. Surely Kalusha Bwalya is arguably the most disciplined player Zambia has ever produced on and off the Pitch. He was a tentallizing left footer who used to use his magic when things are going tough and tense for the Chipolopolo Bullets, this happened in 1995 when Zambia played Gabon at the Lusaka Independence Stadium and many games that we can't even mention. Quiet Okey!! Upon being a good football player that does not mean one should be the best Football Administrator. A lot has been said about his administration at FAZ after he took office from the Teddy Mulonga Executive. One thing we should know in life is that we all make mistakes here and there, as for KALU, Personally i have seen the Man be too quiet and can only talk when matters are wrongly published in the Paper about the ongoing of Sports in this country. Somehow he has gone wrong, still he is able to sit down with his Executive and look backwards in order to clarify these critical issues that have doomed Zambian Football. But from the look of things they started as failures now they have started to show that a mission is about to be accomplished. What is that mission? 2010 here we come. Go FAZ the going is no Easy & Chipolopolo the Tough is Yet to Come!!! Determination, Consistency, Focus, Hardwork and Unity will see us South Africa. "HERE WE COME"
