Sichone scores again


Germany based defender Moses 'Big Mo' Sichone scored his second goal in less than a month yesterday.

The Kickers offenbach defender put his side ahead in the 16th minute with a header from a corner kick but FC Kaiserslautern levelled with 13 minutes to full time to earn a draw in one of the German Bundesliga 2 derby games. In the game, Sichone gave a solid performance, very good defending and always looked dangerous at set piece.

This was Sichone's second goal this month. On 2nd March, the former Nchanga Rangers ace scored the first goal in Offenbach's 4-3 dramatic win over St. Pauli. After recovering from his injury that saw him miss the AFCON in Ghana, 'Big Mo' has featured in Offenbach's last eight matches. This season he has scored three goals in 13 appearances for his club.

Buffaloes' opponents Zim's Highlanders arrive.


Green Buffaloes' confederations Cup opponents Highlanders FC of Zimbabwe arrived today(Friday) in readness for tomorrow's match slated for Lusaka's Nkoloma Stadium.

Highlanders arrived at Lusaka's international Airport around 13:00 hours Zambian time. Iniatially they were scheduled to travel by road from Bulawayo.


Buffaloes will be facing Highlanders after dumping Zanzibar's Chipukizi 7-0 on agregate. The Zambia Army sponsored have already banged in the Samuel 'Zoom' Ndhlovu Charity and last weekend they beat Konkola Blades 2-1 in the KCM/FAZ Premier league opener.
