Chris Katongo – The Staff Sergeant started up front for struggling Danish side Brondby IF as they were defeated 1-0 by FC Nordsjælland.

Katongo:we should have won

I thought we played a good game today. FC Nordsjlland did not produce many chances, but we had many. After the match Chris Katongo said "If you count the total amount of chances from each team we should have won."- "We played some of the best football we have played all year, so it's a shame that FC Nordsjlland ends up winning the game. Despite the defeat today, I still feel that we're on the right track with this team", added the sympathetic player from Zambia.

- "For my game it wasn't significant that Duncan was substituted in the beginning of the game. I continued to fight hard for the balls that I did get. In the end of the game we had four men on top, and yet we still couldn't put the ball in the back of the net."- "I don't think it's a problem for me that I have yet to score in the spring season. We work hard for each other on the team, and at the end of the day it matters less to me who ends up scoring", Katongo said.

Felix Katongo – Little brother Felix earned his first call-up to the Rennes senior squad but failed to make an appearance in their 3-1 home victory over Lens.

Jacob Mulenga – Kitwe’s favourite target man was used as a sub for 10-men Strasbourg as they were defeated 1-0 at home to Lille. In his 22 minutes of play, Mulenga was unable to sustain any sort of attack as Strasbourg hover above the relegation zone in France’s Ligue 1.

Isaac Chansa – Was a second half sub for Helsingborgs IF pre-season defeat against Rodgers Kola’s former side Hamkam of Norway, as they fell 1-0. He did not figure in either the scoresheet nor the referees book.

Dominic Yobe – Started, and played an integral part in Finnish side AC Oulu’s 2-1 pre-season victory over FC OPA. Yobe set-up a goal, and had numerous attempts on net. The Finnish second division season begins next month.
