Denmark

Running off the emotion of the Danish Cup victory earlier in the week, Brondby IF defeated FC Nordsjælland 3-0. Chris Katongo played all 90 minuted but was unable to find the score-sheet, despite a flurry of chances early in the second half. The victory pushes Brondby to 8th place with 5 games remaining in the season, 10 points out of a UEFA cup spot.

France

With two games left in the Ligue 1 season, and a 4 point defecit, relegation looks certain for RC Strasbourg as they suffered a second consecutive 3-0 loss. On loan striker Jacob Mulenga played the final 14 minutes and he lone contribution to the match was a header just outside the 6-yard box that missed right.

Sweden

A yellow card in the 83rd minute was Isaac Chansa's major contribution to the match as Helsingborgs were defeated 1-0 by IF Elfsborg, Chansa played his usual central midfield role behind legendary Swedish international Herik Larsson.

Edwin Phiri and Ljungskile play on Monday.

Germany

A sending off early in the second half for
Moses Sichone led to a defeat of epic proportions for Kickers Offenbach as they fell 7-1 to league leaders Borussia Monchengladbach in the second division. Sichone's 48th minute rugby tackle in 6 meters from the net may have saved a goal, as it prevented a free header into a open net, but ultimately led to former German international Oliver Neuville converting his second penalty of the game. This was the Kickers second red card of the match after Burkina Faso national Bance was given a straight red for a harsh tackle at the end of the first half. Nine-men bottom dwellers Offenbach had little chance while the Bundesliga destined team from the West showed no mercy. Sichone will not be available for the next match, the team has 3 remaining and sit two points clear of relegation.

Finland

A late brace from Nchimunya Mweetwa led RoPS to a stunning 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Tampere United. Starting alongside countrymen Chileshe Chibwe the game was scoreless until RoPS found themselves down in the 74th minute, but were quick to answer back as Mweetwa drew his side level on 83 minutes. A low cross from the left side bounced around in the 6-yard box prior to Mweetwa latching on to the end of it with a powerful equalizer. An 88th minute substitution brought on Chanda Mwaba, in the final minute of play a longball was picked out by Mweetwa who was 1 vs. 1 with the goalkeeper while being harassed from behind by a defender. As the goal keeper charged out, Nchimunya gently flicked the ball past the keeper to give his side the victory.
