Newly named Chipolopolo coach Herve Renard will be in the stands tomorrow as the local guns try to overturn the 1-0 loss to Botswana in the second leg of the Chan qualifier at Lusaka’s Woodlands Stadium.
Stand-in Chipolopolo trainer Peter Kaumba is likely to use the 4 3 3 formation ahead of the tradition 4 4 2. Judging from Thursday’s training friendly match against City of Lusaka, Kaumba started with the latter but it was the former( 4 3 3-formation) which paid dividend as all the three goals Zambia scored came in the second half.

Renard who watched the full training game said,”The second half was very good while the first was fair.”
The back five picks itself with the agile and tough-tackling Hichani ‘The Undertaker’ Himoonde returning to the side after missing the first leg.’HH’ will take Young Arrows’ Whiteson Simwanza who has been dropped.
Chambishi’s Sanida Zulu will partner ‘HH’ with Clive Sichiondwe and William Chinyama taking the wing backs. Fit-again Francis Kasonde occupied the right full back in the first leg.
Portugal bound and Zesco United midfielder Rainford Kalaba is set to start in midfield at the venue he scored his first international goal in 2005. With William ‘The Magician’ missing through injury and Roan United’s Moses Kapayi dropped from the squad (the duo started in the first leg), 18 year old Stophira Sunzu is poised win his first international cap.
Sunzu’s pin- point diagonal passes, interceptions and tactical approach will be crucial in the middle of the pack.
If Kaumba who is assisted by George Lwandamina decide to go with three in midfield then Green Buffaloes’ playmaker Sebastian Mwansa will be called upon his favoured position.

With Zanaco’s Chisamba Lungu dropped to the under-20, Power Dynamos’ Kennedy Mudenda and Judge M’kandawire of Young Arrows will continue and try to justify their selection ahead of Zambiafootball.com’s April’s Player of the Month, Lyainga Chiwanki.
But Mudenda and M’kandawire’s inclusion in the starting line-up will depend on what the two trainers’ will decide (formantion).
Upfront Emmanuel Mayuka is in line to win his his fifth international debut but will he rekindle his World Youth Cup strike partnership with in-form Roger Kola or Green Buffaloes’ Reuben Tembo?
With Herve Renard in the terraces, Zambia will be going for outright win as the lads try to impress in front of the Frenchman.
