Zambia thrash the Zebras

Zambia 3-0 Botswana

Zambia national team beat Botswana 3-0 to advance to the next round of the CHAN championship were a date with either Angola or Mozambique is awaiting them.

With the new coach Herve Renard in the stands, the local side took a lead in the sixth minute courtesy of Roger Kola header, his second in the last three games.


Emmanuel Mayuka then scored an acrobatic bicycle kick benefiting from a substitute Kennedy Mudenda cross in the second half.

Talisman Rainford Kalaba scored the third from a tight angle.
The maestro enjoys playing at Woodlands Stadium. He scored his international debut goal at this stadium and after signing for Sporting Braga, The 21 year old scored a late winner for Zesco United against Buffaloes in April.
