Isreal based under 20 midfielder Justine Zulu has impressed Chipolopolo trainer Herve Renard. Renard who has been assisting the under-20 techniacal bench led by Oswald Mutapa Jr is planning to include the whiz kid in his Cosafa squad.
Zulu is giant and his physical presence can compliment the likes of Rainford Kalaba & Felix Katongo. Zulu is expected to lead Zambia U/20 against Maurius on Sunday.
According to a source Renard singledout Zulu, Green Buffaloes' midfielder Nathan Sinkala and Alex Mwiche of Mufulira Blackpool.
The trio are part of the Zambia under-20 squad that is preparing for this Sunday's first leg of 2009 African Youth Cup against Mauritius.
''Renard has promised to monitor the progress of the three starlets and he is hoping to use them in the Cosafa games next month,'' the source said.
Zulu & also under-20 teammate Bitwell Phiri had a fruitful stay at the late Nsofwa Chaswe's team Hapoel sheer Sheva which plays in the second division. Both Zulu & Phiri made 15 appearances for Hapoel.
In a practice match against Young Arrows, the 19 year old Zulu ran the show in the middle of the pack. He looked to be in the world of his own. His tracking down and pin point diagonal crosses were excellent.
Zulu was part of the under-20 that reached the last 16 at the Canada 2007 World Youth Cup. He started the first game against Jordan but due to the emergence of Stophira Sunzu he was relagated to the bench.
He came on as a substitute in the final match against Nigeria.
But his move to Isreal's Hapoel Sheva has seen him being 'forgotten' by the FAZ technical bench.

On Sunday U/20 coach is set to unleash his new gems; Justine Zulu is the only member from the 2007 Golden Generation.Above Rodger Kola goes past a Jordanian player while Zulu(15) looks on at the World Youth Cup in Canada.
"I hope a good show in the Under-20 match will remind people and help me earn a national team call up ,'' he said after learning that he has been recalled to the Under-20.
Zulu was in the same Edusport Youth team that produced the likes of Fwayo Tembo, Hichani Himonde, William Njobvu, Rodger Kola and Judge M'kandawire.
