The World Boxing Council (WBC) plans to construct a boxing school in Zambia in honor of the late boxing legend Lottie "Gunduzani" Mwale, according to a report by the Post newspaper on Sunday.
Houcine Houichi, WBC vice president, who is on a visit, was quoted as saying that the construction of the boxing school - WBC Lottie Mwale School of Boxing, will commence after the consent of the Zambian government has been received.
According to minister Namulambe, "the WBC is free to start the construction works immediately."
