This DNA stems from a mom who sang, and a dad who wrote, yet both parents were Teachers and Civil Servants. It is from this backdrop that Dr Mooch has been performing on and off while pursuing other endeavors. From the early days in the 80’s singing alto in Kafue Boys Choir, doing drama, being an amateur chess champion, then going on to be one of Zambia’s top Break dancers with his crew “The Breakfreeze”.

Since Bob Marley and the Wailers, perfomed at Zimbabwe’s independence day in 1980, Zambia as a nation was watching and celebrating too. Jimmy Cliff, Gregory Issac, Musical Youth, Yellowman, Mutabaruka, Steel Pulse, Alpha Blondy, and Burning Spear to mention a few, all spear headed Dr Mooch’s musical influence and outlook. Growing up in Zambia, naturally brings that African touch of Rhumba, Kalindula, and other cultural influences. The genesis really stemmed from the outskirts of Lusaka West where the artist lived in a community filled with many of Zambia’s top performing Artists. The likes of Anna Mwale, Ian Nyerenda, Ricky Illilonga, Paul Ngozi, Amayenge, Patrick Chisembele but to mention a few, all played a role in Dr Mooch’s musical growth.

Through the 90’s, Dr. Mooch kept busy in the underground staging one man shows, local gigs, organizing and performing in Peace Galas calling for world peace and international understanding. Upon following his bliss to Alaska, Dr Mooch took a break from music to concentrate on studies , writing and exploring. Now, this prolific Artist is back with his sophomore Album, “Eazzy duzzit”. Scaba, Roots and Culture, present : Zambia’s Reggae Ambassador - "Dr Mooch".

His work depicts a genuine African scenario mostly treated in a semi-abstract style. Enock's philosophy is "a work of art is never complete. Art is a continuous struggle of creation and imagination. Some people claim that only the African can really appreciate Africa's culture, but I think a rich culture should be the common property of all over the world".

Born in 1954, in Kawambwa, Zambia, Enock started painting professionally in 1975. He is autodidactic and he further developed his talent with the assistance of older colleagues. Not confined solely to oil paintings, he also creates sculptures from scrap metal. Several of his large sculptures are visible at different locations in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia.

Enock's colourful oil paintings have taken the Nordic people by storm. Building on a successful exhibition at Galleri Viktoria in Göteborg in November 1997, Enock had his second individual exhibition in Sweden in January 1999. This time the venue was Utställningssalongen in Stockholm. Enock's work has also been included in the "Saana Africa" touring exhibition in Norway in 1995. Besides the Nordic countries, Enock has exhibited in Zambia, England, New Zealand, USA, Kenya, Botswana and Mozambique.

In 2006, the Swedish Agency for Development Evaluation was officially opened in Karlstad, Sweden. Enock contributed with the official SADEV painting and he describes the painting as "women pounding and evaluating maize". Some of Enock's work can be viewed in the Picture Gallery
