Would like to learn the bemba language. However, at a slow pace, no rush. Does not matter if my pen pal is male or female. Just a friend to relate too.
Hello Charles- I am a white American woman looking for pen pal friendships and I saw your posting. If you would like to email with me, contact me at trusting.hope@yahoo.com I hope to visit Zambia someday and want to make some friendships with Zambians and learn about your culture. I would love to hear all about you! I can email a picture if you want. Thanks and have a great day! Renee
I'd like to promote Zanglish, but there doesn't seem to be anything translated...including the word hello. Am I doing something wrong?
Hey cblount,
I'm a city Bemba in Kitwe. Let me know how fast or slow you want to go.
ndashi
I' d love to learn more about American Culture. Been there once back in 92 and had a blast
mashani or mushani, I can't really remember but am I on the right track, if so tell me. Nonetheless, greetings ndashi, how are you doing? I see you once lived here in the U.S. and had a nice time, that is good. I would like to learn but at a slow pace because it is not as easy as some languages are. I speak and write the language of thee Yorubian Tribe of Nigeria and a little Swahili. However, I find Bemba very interesting and challenging. (excuse my spelling) I lost a very close and dear friend from Zambia and I promised myself that I would learn as much as I can. Her name was (and still is to me) Malama Mumbi. She was very polite, humble, free spirited and understanding. Her non biased ways was always an attraction to me and I loved the way she use to ask me after greeting me by saying "how is your family doing on down to my cat Maxwell! But most importantly, she would ask, "And How is the Queen doing, tell her I said hello" I have been calling my mother ever since and saying those words. How is my Queen today. My mother loves being called that. Anyway, enough of that. Yes, I would like to have a friend who does not mind sharing and teaching me to speak bemba. for example: Hello, how are you doing, good morning, good night, good bye, it is nice to see you again, when was the last time you seen her, take care, see you later, let's shake hands on it, your a good friend , it's nice to know I have someone I can trust. Now beleive it or not, this is how I learned to speak and write Yoruba. To learn your tounge (language) would be a blessing, because I do plan on visiting Zambia. Listen ndashi, here is my email address: charlesblount86@yahoo.com write me when ever you can. I am reading as much as I can on Zambia. Trying to understand some of the regime. Take care. Oh, and by the way you can email here at this post also because each day I also read through these sites as I am looking for some help regarding me friend. So If you decide to teach me a few words in bemba, send it to my yahoo and if you want to correspond and elaborate on various other subjects what have you, send it here. As long as we could stay in touch.
Hey renee, we have been doing good in staying in touch. Hope all is well with you and your family. Listen, you should really read through some of the sites the Zambian has, they are very interesting. Take care.
