Duncan Mushala abandons family

Duncan Kakulekelo Mushala has been married for thirty years and has had 6 children. He has put his wife in so much emotional turmoil that she has slipped in and out of major depression. He has vowed to make her life miserable because he is the bread winner and can pretty much do anything. She has especially suffered over the last decade from mental, emotional, and physical abuse that Duncan Mushala has inflicted on her. Duncan Mushala was married to a widow from the Lusaka Airport area - secretly - and preyed on her. He started working for TAVETA and secretly does a woman he works with, Christine. She is a widow too (What are these widows thinking). He has money and so these desperate shanty compound women are easy target (the 1st wife lived in some school hostels while Christine live in dumpy Chilenje area). He wants to move his adulterous lovie into his matrimonial home and chase away his children and wife. What a low life!

Personally, I have no problem with divorce when it is absolutely called for, as in this case. But I differ with men that want to destitute their partners by hiding behind the antiquated local courts. Local courts in Zambia, as you might know, are governed by customary law in family matters. This means that the woman has no say in the decision for property sharing and the man can do what ever he please because they 'court' is behind him. Truly a recipe for disaster and backwardness.

If Duncan Mushala wants a divorce, let him leave the matrimonial home and go to chilenje. But no, Christine wants to leave in Kabulonga with her brutes and litter and she will push for this. The sad thing is, Duncan Mushala is a graduate of UNZA. Wow! I wonder how a moron like him has got so far, but then again, it people like Duncan Mushala that have caused the regression of civility.

Please join me in calling for any end to this unethical, inhumane way of treating women. The courts should make an exam of people like Duncan Muishala and make sure that he leave the house for his childish whims. Women in Zambia need all of us to join hands and require the equality of all, especially in matters of divorce.

The TEVETA management should also see to it that such unethical conduct and treatment of women and dissolution of all that is not good by people like Duncan Mushala do not go unnoticed. Also, women like Christine should be ashamed that they would conjure up such schemes to ruin the lives of another family. Remember Christine, if he treated his wife of Thirty years like this, imagine how he will treat you as you and your litter. Remember that!

 The story-Duncan Mushala abandons family was a malicious story devoid of the truth. To answer to the fabrications may give credence to the story but suffice to say that it is totally untrue.

What is important to say is that TEVETA should not have been mentioned in the first place because it is not connected in any way with the private life of Mushala. I would like to sincerely apologise to TEVETA for having their name dragged into a purely private matter. TEVETA is an honourable organization facilitating the development of skills for the Zambian Economy and discharges this responsibility efficiently and effectively.

This is really unfortunate. The story about Duncan Mushala is really disturbing but it is good to know that the man is here defending himself. After reading the story above, I was not shocked because some Zambian men are like that, even worse for others. If I was Duncan Mushala (I wonder if he is related to the infamous Mushala crashed by KK), I would want to air my view or my side of the story. Reading his response did not convince me that what was said about him was not true. Please Duncan, did you really abandon your children and wife of thrity years for Christine? If you did, then we as Zambians do not care how much you justify yourself, you would be a shame to the our country, both you and Christine. But if this story is not true, then you are alright.

Duncan and Civility, tell us what is what. Is duncan Mushala a the scum that he is or is he just a victim of nonsense? We want to know.

 My brother-in-law works at TEVETA. I am sure he knows Mr. Duncan Mushala and I will ask him to tell me what kind of character he is. I find it interesting that umunthu uyu is apologizing to TEVETA instead of what he has done to his family (if this story is at all true). I will be more confident after talking to my brother-in-law.

Mr Civility, where did you get this story because if it not true, then dont put it here. But if it is true, bravo to you because Zambia is tired of Men like Duncan and oppotunists like Christine. In fact, I will have my in-law tell me about Christine too since she also works for TEVETA. Let us all get to the bottom of this.

 I guess Duncan Mushala has never heard of the Bemba proverb, "Treat the days well and they will treat you well."

The story about him is indead true. Just consult the Daily Mail of May 8th if you doubt the authenticity of his doings. Also, if you want to be absolutely certain if this man is not just been falsely painted here and in the Newspapers, go to Chilenje Local Court at 8am on May 15th, 2008 (next Thursday). There, you will hear the whole story for yourself. Should you miss the Chilenje Local Court, do not dispair, the Post is going to provide you with the copious details of the same proceedings the day after. And in case you cant get a hold of the Post of May 16th, I will lay bare on this site, and up to 17 blogs and websites (wiki included) that have been set up specifically for Duncan Mushala and Christine, thanks to some generosity of some Women Right Advocates here in Zambia and the UK. There is no way Duncan and Christine will lie their way out of this. It is as real as you and me, you can quote on on that. Duncan is as dirty as they come and this week we bring alll this to light.

But let me make it categorically clear that this story is real. I am sure you can tell from the entry of Duncan Mushala above that there is no substance to this cowardly man. Where as the end of an ox is beef, as described by the Malagasy people, the end of Duncan Mushala's lies is grief. This TEVETA man is perpetuating the scourge of regression that has racked our people. It is high time chaps like him were exposed. Thanks to Women Rights orgs like WRI and SAP, we can begin to not only tackle the issues of AIDS but also of destitute wives and children.

I cant wait to hear from Chitambwa what his worked mates will say about him and Christine. And yes, bringing up thae fact that he uses up tax payers money at TEVETA is fair game. The SAP is advocating with Mr Daka and the Permanent Secretary to make sure that the interests of citizen are addressed. I am sure you will understand everything once will lay bare everything from 1977 to the present about this man, this shame of men.

 I finally have some news. Abakalamba bandi gave me some very interesting insights. All I can say is mudala uyi Duncan Mushala ali badd! This man is quite a spectacle. Like I said last time, my brother-inlaw works for TEVETA and know Mr Mushala very well. TEVETA is a government unit that oversees issues of all vacational education in Zambia. Duncan Mushala is one of the managers at TEVETA and he goes around the country to see how the vocational colleges are doing. If you go to college in Zambia, just know TEVETA is looking out for you.

The woman he is apparently in love with, Christine, is some sort of assistant to the Director of TEVETA. She is older than him, at least she looks way much old and she is a widow with children of her own. They are married under some weird arrangement. She resides in Chilenje as was claimed. Duncan Mushala drives in his car with her and spends some night at her home and some at his in Kabulonga. He used to spend some nights with a woman in Chelston area but he had ditched her. The Chelston woman was also a widow. After his conjugal visits, his always returns home to Kabulonga. I don't understand this arrangement but this man has issues. Bakalamba says they know about his bad behavior but since he is a sort of bwana, everybody just laughs in private. His family can not do anything because this man is the sole provider...the story of all bad men in Zambia who have the ability to do what they want.

He wants to divorce his wife who has has been with so that he can move in with Christine. He is technically a polygamist because his culture allows it. He is a Lozi man and has married other women before and moves on when he is done with them. His wife is depressed and Duncan Mushala once took her to Chinama hospital and left her there and told the doctors that she was mad. She is so depressed that she cant defend her self and that is why he is picking this time for divorce. He is a very low man in terms of morals and people at TEVETA are not surprised, its business as usual.

Also, he has failed a master degree that TEVETA is paying for but since he is a bwana, they will cover it and pay for him again...Zambian transparency. Bottom line, the people don't respet him and they look at Christine with disdain.

I am now definitely convinced that the story above is real and Duncan Mushala is as low and dishonest in every way possible. I will also go to the Chilenje court on May 15th at 8am to see for myself. Some TEVETA people say they aslo will go there. They are sure Christine is packing her bags so she can move from Chilenje to Kabulonga now. Ngati ufuna kubeula paZed, catch your self a married man from Kabulonga and you can move from Chilenje like Christine did. But Mr civility, make sure you are there at Chilenje court because I will.
