Oh king how great it was to know you

You were there when I needed to go to school

You taught me how to fight

You showed me what is right

You stood when others wanted you to sit

You were my king and we fit

I will miss you my king

I still have you in my mind

Your wind of change still blows in my sail

I am so sure I will not fail

How I miss you Oh king

I will always wear my ring

I will stand up and be counted

I will mourn you by fighting

I won't fight for supremacy or positions

But I will fight for democracy and justice

Oh king how I miss you

Oh king I will stand with you

I will see you when you return, if you return

May I celebrate you by doing what you taught me

By defending justice for the born and the unborn

Oh king, my king, my leader, my king
