This rate is 1.0 percentage point higher than the August rate of 13.2 percent. Compared with the same period last year, the annual rate of inflation increased by 4.9 percentage points, from 9.3 percent in September 2007 to 14.2 percent in September 2008.&lt;/p&gt;

This rate is 0.6 of a percentage point higher than the July rate of 12.6 percent. Compared with the same period last year, the annual rate of inflation increased by 2.5 percentage points, from 10.7 percent in August 2007 to 13.2 percent in August 2008.&lt;/p&gt;

This rate is 0.8 percentage points higher than the April rate of 10.1 percent. Compared with the same period last year, the annual rate of inflation declined by 0.9 percentage points, from 11.8 percent in May 2007 to 10.9 percent in May 2008. &lt;/p&gt;
