Zambian Sports and Zambian Recreation
3.In Paris-France(Prior to Egypt 2006 Afcon), Kalu failed to behave himself as a good of FAZ and technical director by chasing The Post newspaper Reporter who was booked first than Kalu and his two daughters at the hotel--what a racist he is. Zambian football need media people to develop not a single man like Kalu whether well qualified.
4. Kalu failed to win Cosafa cup despite him possessing 'A' class certificate in coaching. I wonder whether it is true 'A' class certificate.
5.He(kalu) has failed to work properly with his boss Teddy at FAZ instead he always wanted to be a boss to Teddy ( check the heated arguement about who was to vote when choosing Cosafa leader mr Patel).
6.Kalu failed to win an election against Mr Patel the leader of Seychellesdespite telling the Zambian public he had support.
7.Kalu has failed to live in Zambia for a good period. Is he allergic to living in Zambia?
8.He has failed to organise any high profile friendly matches as he is always claiming to have International contacts.
*Those with International contacts are busy playing high profile friendly matches today (Wednesday 26/03/08) -Ivory coast vs Tunisia, Algeria vs Congo DR, Egypt vs Argentina, South Africa vs Paraguay, even Botswana will entertain the samba boys-Brazil on 1st April as a result of international contacts. What is Zambia national team doing today! Only kalu and his supports knows which venue will be used for a final high profile friendly match before FAZ election. Well done for those friendlies we didnt watch!
9.Finally, is it not Kalu that failed to convert the penalty when it mattered most against Angola which costed Zambia a cosafa cup and socially he has failed to live with his wife hence there divorce in 2006 which lead him misplacing his anger on the innocent Reporter from The Post newspaper.
Im sure Micheal Muchinga, you now why I'm not comfortable with Kalusha Bwalya who is ' I know-it-all not' smart guy.
Kalu can't be consider to coach in the premier league lets not cheat ourselves I followed that league. Why hasn't he received an offer to coach a high profile team so far if he is that qualified as his agents are claiming. If Kalu wins on saturday, councillors will be to blame for whatever shall become of Zambian football.

Please email your comments to Zambianfootball@gmail.comFAZ candidates woo votersWITH three days before the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) goes to the polls, aspiring candidates have continued to sell their manifestos as they woo supporters for votes. On Sunday, FAZ president Teddy Mulonga asked councillors to re-elect him so that consistency could be enhanced while Kalusha Bwalya was in Western Province with his team seeking votes. The other aspiring presidential candidate Hanif Adams was in Central Province where he said there was need for change of administration in FAZ, adding that he was the best man for the job.And vice-presidential aspirant Joseph Nkole has said it takes a running mate to offer good support to any leadership.Addressing FAZ councillors at Victoria Hall in Livingstone, Mulonga said he had a proven record in football administration. He advised councillors not to elect leaders he termed as 'absentee landlords.'"We want to build capacity in football administration and I have the proven ability. And continuity is the best, don't take chances. I have been there as a player in the amateur ranks and in administration."I have been in football administration longer than other people I have broad experience and we must work as a team. I'm offering my expertise, you cannot have a monopoly over everything, even God created the body with different parts and some are hidden but they all work together as a team," he said.Mulonga said if re-elected, there would be continuity and his leadership would not be out to re-invent things."I'm standing because I was requested to stand and the other thing is that I have a track record. In 2004 we inherited an association that was a non performer. Today, we are proud to say that in Southern Province, we have Division One, Two and Three which was not to be 12 years ago and in Eastern Province we now have a team playing in Division One, it was unheard of," he said.Mulonga described the prevailing situation ahead of the FAZ elections as unprecedented but warned that as president he would ensure that there were no underhand methods.Mulonga also appealed to the press to highlight negative issues that were cropping up ahead of the FAZ 'indaba'.He urged councillors not to be cheated that Division Two and Three teams will receive K10 million from the KCM deal as this was yet to be signed.Meanwhile, aspiring vice-president Joseph Nkole has appealed to the FAZ candidates to condition themselves for any outcome during Saturday's elections. And aspiring treasurer Rix Mweemba warned councillors against risking their vote by voting on mob sychology."Mob psychology is good but don't be driven by a mad person," Mweemba said.Another aspiring treasurer Frank Munthali has pledged to improve contacts with the corporate world and reduce dependency on government funding. He said transparency and strict corporate governance as well as great emphasis on team work within FAZ were his major priorities."At the moment most organisations are not willing to assist FAZ for fear that their donations will not go to intended purposes because of mistrust in people who were holding this position in the past."Financial strategy will be developed to ensure that the limited resources are used effectively," he said.Munthali said he will play a huge role in strengthening grassroot football."Schools football will be a backbone of whatever I will be doing at FAZ. Without schools football, this country will not go anywhere. It is for this reason that schools football competitions will be established in all the provinces of Zambia. Of course, this will be done collectively with committee members," he added.Munthali also said he believed that the formation of an autonomous league management body was vital to developing Zambian football."Efforts will be made to ensure that FAZ is de-linked from the league. I do not see any complications in doing this. Let the clubs run their own affairs and FAZ should concentrate on running the national teams,” he saidMeanwhile, FAZ life member Luxon Kazabu has advised councillors to throw out candidates with blemished records.Kazabu also said he would gladly relinquish his position as life member if it meant trading his freedom of expression. In an interview, Kazabu said councillors should not just analyse candidates but scan them."Councillors should not just analyse candidates but scan them. They have moral responsibility to throw out candidates with blemished records and they know themselves," he said.He said that although he was aware of hunger for power by some candidates, they owed it to morality to step aside instead of bringing the game into ridicule."Of course some candidates are obsessed with power but morality demands that they step aside to give credibility to football. My message to candidates is that if you know your record is blemished, step aside," said the veteran sports administrator.
